This first calendar is embedded and shows Scouting Events, Meetings, and Holidays & Office Closures for both Eno River District and Occoneechee Council. 

This second embedded calendar has the default set to just Scout Events and Meetings for just Eno River. That did declutter it, but it also lost us events that we want included.
I went into those events in BP, and found they were just set up with the District as Occoneechee. When I added the other districts to those events in BP, the events came through fine. So now you can see the Durham Bulls Camp Outs in Jun and Jul, and the Commodore Cruise for the Ships. I didn’t touch August, so you can see that we’re missing stuff we want, like the Volunteer Recruitment meeting, Mudcats Night, Camp Campbell workday, etc.

If we want the less cluttered Eno River only version, I can go through and compare calendars, and add the other districts to these missing events so they show up. But we want to get Daniela, or whomever, to include all the Districts when setting up events that we all would participate in….

This third calendar is an Eno River only version of the iframe code Council used to create their calendar. I cannot see a way to change the top Occoneechee Council name or the menu options that are specific to Council. I think that is because this whole thing is the Occoneechee Council calendar and we are just a subset of that, and that whole thing comes across as is.

 

 

 

This fourth calendar below is the Carversion of the Eno River only calendar seen as #2 above. Note that in filter to the left, the viewer can change the way the calendar displays: Card, Month, List and Map. So for the enmbedded calendars 1, 2, and 4 on this test page, we really only need to decide which default view we want displayed.

It is also displayed in the sidebar on all pages so we can see what it looks like if we want to continue using the sidebar and have upcoming events show up there.  If there is NO sidebar, any Month calendar we display as the default would look like they do on the Cardinal District at https://cardinal.staging.ocscouts.org/events/ and on the North Star District at https://northstar.staging.ocscouts.org/events/calendar/. Note that the Sandhills District website does not have a calendar page.
